Hawthorn (War Horse)
Hawthorn is a brown Heavy Cavalry horse with Strength 3, Dexterity 3, Stamina 4, Wits 4 and Intelligence 2. He can communicate silently with anyone riding him or in skin-to-skin contact. At will, or at the rider's command, Hawthorn is instantly garbed in a full (horse-shaped) set of plate armour which will absorb 3 bashing or 3 lethal damage from every successful hit against him. The rider is not similarly protected. The armour is engraved with a poppy design, and can be dismissed as easily as it is summoned.

Memories of the Fallen (Duke Poppy's Sword)
This sword is carried by the Duke - or in his absence, the Crown Prince - of House Poppy. It does not normally have physical form until its wielder requires it, whereupon it forms in his hand or at his waist. It is a poppy-red heavy cavalry sabre with gold and black engraving, approximately three feet in blade length, with a one-handed grip. It deals a base damage of Strength+4L at difficulty 6. Its damage-dealing capacity increases by 1L for each noble ally of the wielder who has so far fallen in the current battle.

Duke Poppy's Signet Ring
This ring is worn by the Duke - or in his absence, the Crown Prince - of House Poppy. It signifies status, and if shown to any noble the wearer's status is immediately conferred. It entitles the wearer to petition the King, Queen or ruling Council of Fairyland. Neither it, nor its impression in wax, can be forged.
